Priscila Oliveira

Who am I ?

My name is Priscila, I'm 31 years old and I'm a Brazilian software engineer currently living in beautiful city of Vienna, Austria.

Since I was a child, I always dreamed of visiting other borders beyond my country, where I would have the opportunity to know other languages, cultures, foods and people until one day my dream came true. I am a very communicative person, who loves to help and make new friends. In my spare time I like to watch series and movies, learn new languages, walk with my dog Lady and play with my hedgehog Freddie and last but not least, I love to travel.

Speaking of travel, it was in 2022 when I traveled for the first time to Ghent in Belgium and met Alexander, the co-founder of “Intercambio”. Alexander told me about the “Intercambio” project, showing a lot of motivation and love and that was when the desire to also help the project, even if distant, awakened in me.

What’s my role within Intercambio?

At Intercambio, I am responsible for the website, making changes and updates when necessary and also adding content from our volunteering social activities. In this way, everyone can follow our work from anywhere in the world.

What’s my personal experience with volunteering?

I've always really enjoyed helping out, so I've helped good friends with projects similar to Intercambio by organizing and running fundraising events for charities and nursing homes.
