Hi everyone!
Since 2023, VZW Intercambio has been providing English classes to children and teenagers in the underprivileged neighborhood of Belencito de Corazón in Medellín.
These weekly classes are taught by our volunteers and Alejandra, a local teacher who plays a vital role in her students’ lives. For them, the classes are about much more than learning English: they offer a safe, structured activity after school!
To show the impact of Alejandra firsthand, we will organize two guided visits to one of the classes, along with a visit to the local foundation and information about the history of the neighborhood.
When? February 18 or February 25, between 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Meeting point? Santa Lucía metro station at 8:15 a.m. (we’ll take the bus together) or at 9 a.m. at Fundación Dame La Mano (Cra. 117 #34AB 07, Belencito, Corazón, Medellín, San Javier, Medellín, Antioquia)
